Requirements
- Software Engineering or Development experience, and a desire to be customer-facing.
- Understand what’s relevant to design and implement reliable, scalable, high-performing Web based solutions.
- Knowledge of Authentication and Authorization protocols and frameworks such as SAML, OIDC and OAuth.
- Experience working with REST APIs and SDKs.
- Comfort working with cloud-based source control systems such as GitHub.
- Development experience on the server side as well as client-side application design.
- Adaptability and comfort in fast-paced, iterative environments with a strong focus on experimentation.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to simplify complex concepts for technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance and support while showcasing Auth0’s value with self service customers to drive product adoption.
- Take end-to-end ownership of questions and issues, including initial troubleshooting, identification of root causes, and issue resolution.
- Maintain a broad and deep technical understanding of the Auth0 product and the underlying technologies and protocols.
- Collect, analyze, and share customer feedback gathered through customer interactions and NPS surveys with internal Product and Documentation teams.
- Build and execute well-defined, outcome-focused POCs.
- Conduct experiments to identify effective engagement strategies for scalability.
- Work with the PLG team to create new experiments, and expand existing developer materials such as demos, videos, workshops, tutorials, white papers, conference presentations, and webinars for a non-technical audience.
- Stay current on industry trends through self-study, research, and online courses.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a technical support or Solutions Engineer role.
- An understanding of cloud deployment stacks such as AWS and Azure.
- Experience in developing mobile applications and understanding the identity layer integration involving devices.
- Experience working with Auth0.
