Requirements
- 8+ years of successfully building and leading high-performance Product Design teams, with 3+ years specifically in Advertising Platform (B2B) Product Design.
- Understand leadership theory and craft a style that motivates a winning, high-performing team.
- You are an exceptional written communicator, contributing meaningfully to ads design, business, and product strategy.
- A world-class visual and verbal communicator with deep advertising domain expertise and mastery of ads nomenclature.
- Proven track record of influencing strategic business decisions at the Director+ level across cross-functional and business partners.
- Set high performance standards and hold designers accountable, making tough decisions for a more impactful team.
- Deep understanding of technical advertising nomenclature and systems, with the ability to make strategic decisions and contribute to business strategy.
- Craft a team operating model that enables bi-weekly delivery of critical functionality while maintaining team motivation and capacity.
- Develop deep trust across all partner business functions and drive alignment between design and cross-functional partners.
- Experience bridging experience requirements between an advertising business platform and consumer needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Ads Platform Product Design Team, pioneering the global advertising ecosystem for Netflix.
- Manage and build a diverse, inclusive team of Senior Product Designers that consistently delivers impactful ads platform experiences.
- Document team structure, expectations, performance guidance, and engagement models.
- Develop a deep understanding across all Ads Platform workstreams to effectively resource, coach, and solve problems for your team.
- Coach and mentor team performance, manage resource allocation, project prioritization, and cultivate a culture of design excellence.
- Keep your teams inspired and engaged by providing strategic clarity, direction, and focus while identifying and unblocking barriers to success.
- Advocate for user-centered design and B2B systems to drive ads differentiation at scale.
- Introduce new user-centered methodologies and frameworks to facilitate strategic alignment across the organization.
- Contribute to strategic decisions around the future direction of Netflix’s products, balancing long-term vision with near-term objectives.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Consumer Insights, and Ads Business leadership partners to plan OKRs and execute product roadmaps.
- Bring a balanced perspective to strategic discussions, advocating for both user-centricity and business needs.
- Build relationships with stakeholders and partners to discover and deliver the best outcomes for Netflix.
- Actively seek and provide constructive feedback.

Preferred Qualifications
- Exceptional storyteller: you are able to communicate business strategy to an executive audience through visual and nomenclature expertise.
- Ad tech domain architect: you’ve developed expertise in delivering advertising technology to a global audience – and can be a source of guidance and mentorship for designers.
- Experience working with complex internal systems, data platforms, and highly technical environments (like API platforms).
- Deep experience in SVOD and/or Live streaming ecosystems: you either worked directly or adjacently with products that deliver a Live experience (like sports) to a globally distributed audience.
