Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience developing a strategic vision and product roadmap for data initiatives
- Can partner and influence effectively across all levels of an organization, and regularly use these skills to improve the work going on around you
- Experience in a prior startup or high-ambiguity environment; a track record of managing ambiguity and complexity affecting many stakeholders in an organized and structured way
- Experience with data modeling languages such as python, SQL and R
- Strong expertise in data lakes, data warehouses, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data governance frameworks
- Experience with modern data stack technologies (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Apache Spark, Airflow, DBT, Kafka)
- Deep understanding of data modeling, domain-driven design, and building scalable, resilient data platforms
Responsibilities
- Build a deep understanding of customer needs, pain points, and behaviors by partnering with commercial teams and conducting user research and data analysis
- Develop strategic roadmaps with clear milestones and measurable metrics to achieve ambitious goals and track progress effectively
- Work across machine learning, data scientists, design, engineering, QA, and product marketing to define and ship the roadmap
- Prioritize initiatives ruthlessly using a data-driven approach to maximize impact and deliver customer value
- Craft detailed requirements informed by customer conversations, usage data analysis, and iterative feedback from design and engineering teams
- Establish yourself as the go-to expert and trusted leader for the product area, building credibility through ownership and results
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders, distilling complex ideas into clear insights that drive alignment across the organization
Preferred Qualifications
- Domain knowledge and experience with the private capital markets
- Prior experience as a data scientist, data engineer or senior data analyst
