Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, computer science or an equivalent
- 6+ years’ experience working in a software development environment as product manager
- Demonstrated track record in product management with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and an ability to translate data insights into product enhancements
- Strong experience in Agile Development, application of Agile techniques and delivery practices
- Strong communication skills with ability to explain complex technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to advise product strategy
Responsibilities
- Subject matter expert in delivery logistics and brings a strong perspective on logistics strategies and understand its role within the broader Delivery business at McDonald’s
- Drive product development for McDelivery Logistics and partner with the Global McDelivery Strategy team as well as other McDelivery Product Managers to align on requirements and a holistic strategy
- Define and prioritize features, user stories, and backlog items and ensure that they are communicated effectively to the development team
- Manage the product release cycle, including planning, testing, and market deployment
- Craft and execute a comprehensive product roadmap and communicate with stakeholders
- Act as a main point of contact for any third-party integration partners and vendors involved in McDelivery order logistics and fulfillment
- Stay up to date on industry trends and technologies to advise product strategy and ensure the product portfolio remains competitive
- Partner with cross-functional teams such as design, engineering, architecture, operations, legal, and analytics to define improvement opportunities in the form of epics and stories
- Thoroughly understand customer, crew, and business needs to develop an engaging, best-in-class delivery experience
- Ruthlessly prioritize epics and stories within the backlog to deliver the highest value features first and make calculated trade-offs where necessary
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a logistics-related role, a plus
