Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business-related discipline, or engineering from an accredited college or university, or equivalent knowledge/experience
- Significant experience in the Power industry
- Significant experience in a marketing, product management, or commercial role
Responsibilities
- Develop and own the marketing strategy for Gas Power products (Heavy Duty Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, Generators, HRSGs) for new units and/or services
- Stay abreast of industry trends, power & electricity market insights, marketplace leading indicators and forecasts relevant to the business; liaise with regional marketing experts and ‘connect the dots’ globally
- Gather Voice of Customer (VOC) insights, understand customer requirements and utilize data to inform on product and/or sales strategies providing a differentiated value proposition
- Perform segmentation analyses considering customer values, behaviors, and needs. Perform market mapping & targeting; capture emerging trends in relevant segments and develop corresponding strategies
- Document marketplace requirements in support of new product development, summarizing marketplace insights, segmentation, requirements identification, and VOC
- Provide relevant marketplace inputs feeding into new product business cases and capital allocation decisions
- Strategically partner with Product Managers throughout the product development phase
- Define and lead marketing campaigns, develop and maintain internal/external collateral (e.g. fact sheets, customer presentations, catalogs, webinars, webpages)
- Provide marketplace context, data, and guidance in support of operational decision-making as well as longer term product positioning & strategy
- Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives related to the Marketing work scope
