Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering
- At least 10 years of engineering experience
- 5 years leading projects
Responsibilities
- Planning and executing technical scope on several small development projects or one larger development project
- Ensuring project milestones are being met
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary engineering staff and Program Management
- Oversight of technical, cost and schedule performance for development programs
- Validating conceptual problem solutions by performing trade studies and analyses
- Documenting designs, analyses, and test results with accurate and concise reports
- Setting the direction for the technical engineering team
- Coordinating a cross-functional team of designers, drafters, analysts, technicians, and manufacturing engineers
- Mentoring and training of less experienced project engineers
- Being the main technical point of contact for the customer
- Proposal volume development and costing support for Mission Enabling Services Group business unit
- Occasional travel to support customer meetings and business development needs
