Tombras, a 400+ person, full-service, national advertising and digital transformation agency with, is seeking a customer-facing Senior Retail Media Network Solutions Architect. As a Senior Retail Media Network Solutions Architect, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our retail media offerings, driving the success of our clients, and enhancing customer experiences across multiple channels.
The Senior Retail Media Solutions Architect will play a critical role in shaping the future of retail media offerings by leading go-to-market strategies, consultation, implementation, and optimization of retail media solutions. This individual will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including retailers, brands, and technology partners, to design scalable, data-driven solutions that drive measurable business outcomes. Additionally, this role requires leadership in developing advertising product packages, pricing strategies, client tier definitions, reporting metrics, and monetization programs.
Where you’ll be working: Atlanta or Knoxville. Relocation assistance may be provided.

What you will be doing:

  • Solution Architecture & Implementation:
  • Lead the strategy, design, and implementation of comprehensive retail media solutions, ensuring alignment with client objectives and industry best practices.
  • Serve as the primary strategic advisor for clients, guiding them through the integration and adoption of retail media technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Marketing, to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
  • Ensure seamless integration of ad-serving technologies, data analytics, and commerce media platforms.
  • Strategic Planning & Monetization:
  • Develop go-to-market strategies for retailers launching new retail media networks and brands looking to scale or enhance their retail media programs.
  • Define and implement monetization strategies, including advertising product packages, pricing models, and client engagement tiers.
  • Drive revenue planning, forecasting, and reporting, ensuring growth targets and business objectives are met.
  • Identify and develop opportunities for incremental revenue streams through innovative ad formats, targeting strategies, and data partnerships.
  • Performance Optimization & Technical Support:
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of retail media solutions, using data-driven insights to optimize outcomes and improve ROI for clients.
  • Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for clients, ensuring seamless operations and continuous innovation.
  • Collect and integrate client feedback to enhance and refine retail media offerings.
  • Leadership & Client Engagement:
  • Build and manage a high-performing sales and account management team to drive revenue and client satisfaction.
  • Foster strong relationships with vendors, non-endemic brands, advertising agencies, and technology partners to expand market opportunities.
  • Act as a thought leader, representing the company at industry events, webinars, and strategic meetings.
  • Influence internal incentives, strategic roadmaps, and execution timelines to ensure successful delivery of retail media initiatives.

What you bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in retail media, digital advertising, or e-commerce, with a strong track record in consulting, technical leadership, and business development.
  • Expertise in retail media networks, programmatic advertising, data management platforms (DMPs), demand-side platforms (DSPs), and ad-serving technologies.
  • Proven ability to build and scale retail media monetization programs, including ad product development and pricing strategies.
  • Deep understanding of B2B sales, vendor relationship management, and digital media monetization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and experience optimizing media performance and ROI.
  • Experience in cloud-based technologies, APIs, and large-scale data systems preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience analyzing data with retail media networks, DSPs, and ad servers or digital advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Amazon DSP, Walmart Connect, The Trade Desk, Criteo, etc.).
  • Familiarity with modern software development practices, including agile methodologies and DevOps.
  • Experience leading marketing technology and ad operations teams.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of successfully driving business growth.
