Requirements
- 5+ years of revenue accounting experience, preferably in a technology company
- Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and ASC 606
- Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively communicate with cross-functional teams
- Experience navigating large amounts of data
- Experience working with Netsuite, Stripe and Salesforce (or similar EPR / CRM tools)
- Use and experiment with AI tools as part of your daily routine
Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly and quarterly close activities, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliation and revenue schedules.
- Establish effectively relationships with other teams (Monetization Engineering, Sales, Legal, Deal Desk) and work cross-functionally across the organization
- Collaborate with Sales, Legal, and Deal Desk on non-standard financial terms, review & assess revenue impacts.
- Assist in building and refining our revenue processes and controls, including identifying automation opportunities to streamline workflows.
- Support Financial Reporting and Audit requirements related to Revenue.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA (active or inactive)
- Experience with SQL or willingness to learn
- Experience with using Notion
