Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of industry experience, with a strong track record in investment management sales to financial advisors. Experience using YCharts highly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of managed portfolios, portfolio construction, broker-dealer community, Turnkey Asset Management Platforms (TAMPs), and the broader investment management landscape, with expertise in financial advisor, broker-dealer, and RIA workflows.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop a results-driven team, while fostering strong cross-team collaboration.
- Passion for relationship building and the ability to successfully market investment products to financial advisors.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities based on sales data, with proficiency in Google Suite and sales technology tools.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills (verbal and written), with the ability to give and receive feedback constructively.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently, take ownership of issues, and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
- Broad knowledge of financial markets.
- Bachelor’s degree with excellent academic credentials.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive new market share growth for YCharts.
- Own sales forecasts and targets with full accountability.
- Collaborate with other sales leaders and the Business Development Coach to ensure a coordinated and effective sales approach.
- Lead and coach a team of BDRs and AEs, enhancing sales skills, product knowledge, and overall efficiency to drive performance.
- Oversee BDRs in outbound and inbound outreach to engage financial professionals, while guiding AEs in identifying advisor pain points, delivering solutions, managing evaluations, and closing business.
- Set clear expectations, hold team members accountable through performance metrics, and provide structured feedback.
- Conduct routine call quality reviews and ensure adherence to sales best practices.
- Lead the hiring and recruitment process to build a high-performing sales team.
- Oversee onboarding and training for new team members to ensure a smooth transition.
- Monitor key sales metrics and trends, implementing data-driven improvements as needed.
- Manage performance evaluations, recognition programs, and accountability initiatives.
- Optimize team efficiency through process improvements and best practice implementation.
- Successfully implement and train the team on sales technology tools to improve productivity and results.
