Requirements
- Advanced degree in biomedical sciences (MD, PhD, Pharm D)
- 1-2 years of experience at a medical communications agency
- Strong professional writing experience in biosciences/medical fields
- Beginner to intermediate skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, internet search, and PubMed
Responsibilities
- Read, interpret, and distill complex scientific information from medical journals and clinical study reports for scientific and marketing messages
- Assist in creating scientific content
- Conduct literature searches
- Research physician opinion leaders, medical journals, and conferences
- Incorporate client and editorial changes into documents
- Attend scientific/client meetings with senior team members
- Build professional relationships with key opinion leaders
- Liaise with clients and fulfill their requests
- Partner with account services and editorial teams
- Adhere to internal processes on all projects
- Expand knowledge of the medical communications industry
- Support other teams on important/rush projects
