Requirements
- 6+ years experience as SDET
- Must have experience with developing UI and/or API automation frameworks from scratch
- Experience with at least one or more automation tools such as Playwright/Typescript or Cypress
- Proficient in scripting languages (Typescript and Python) and have in depth object oriented understanding
- Experience with Jira, GitHub and CI/CD
- Comfortable with SQL and relational databases
- Ability and willingness to quickly learn new technology stacks outside of your comfort zone
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of small projects from start to finish.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Experience working in an agile development environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Passionate about quality and continuous improvement
Responsibilities
- Write reliable automated tests that can be incorporated into CI/CD
- Train software quality assurance engineers in the use of the framework
- Advocate for testability during the technical design process, enabling you to develop stable and reliable automation
- Recommend test tools, techniques and methodologies needed to enhance our productivity and quality
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with any of the following is a bonus: performance, stress or load testing; mobile testing; accessibility testing
