Senior Security Consultant – Google Public Sector

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience assessing and developing cybersecurity solutions and programs across security domains.
• 6 years of experience in delivering cyber outcomes, identifying mission risks, and devising solutions.
• Active US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate, and conduct technical security assessments for security infrastructures and platforms.
• Address and resolve incidents with advanced technical expertise tailored to Department of Defense (DoD) security standards.
• Authenticate and evaluate historical and ongoing security compromises in alignment with DoD protocols.
• Implement measures to prevent breaches and conduct thorough investigations in compliance with DoD guidelines.
• Manage and coordinate crisis response operations effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing industry-leading practices around cyber risks and security for clients’ security frameworks using industry standards.
• Knowledge of the components that comprise a successful information security program.
• Ability to provide guidance on building or transforming cyber security programs and the implementation of technologies used for enterprise security, and provide advice on best practices for managing the cyber security risks during digital transformation as organizations.
• Ability to conduct security reviews and maturity assessments across technology and business teams to address cyber risk.
• Ability to provide clear and organized risk findings and recommendations to clients.
