Senior Security Engineer

Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum 5+ years in cybersecurity with a strong track record in security solutions and incident response
Extensive experience in securing and managing environments, including SASE, identity management, firewalls, IDS/IPS, email protection, EDR, and MSSP
Strong understanding of implementation and maintenance of security solutions
Experience securing AWS and Azure environments
Skilled in assessing, developing, implementing, integrating, optimizing, and documenting security technologies and processes
Strong knowledge of enterprise security concepts, secure design principles, and frameworks such as NIST CSF, CIS Benchmarks, ISO 27000, and COBIT
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects

Deploying and managing information security solutions and controls across the enterprise
Partnering with MSSP and Incident Response teams to address security incidents and potential threats
Monitoring logs, alerts, and reports to detect and mitigate potential security breaches
Partnering with IT infrastructure team for tier III troubleshooting related to Information Security
Creating and maintaining security standards, operational runbooks and processes
Driving and implementing key security strategies within the Focus Financial Partners firms
Providing information security expertise to the Focus Financial Partners firms
Working closely with other IT departments to ensure security policies are integrated into technology development and deployment
Keeping abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies
