Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5+ years in cybersecurity with a strong track record in security solutions and incident response
  • Extensive experience in securing and managing environments, including SASE, identity management, firewalls, IDS/IPS, email protection, EDR, and MSSP
  • Strong understanding of implementation and maintenance of security solutions
  • Experience securing AWS and Azure environments
  • Skilled in assessing, developing, implementing, integrating, optimizing, and documenting security technologies and processes
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise security concepts, secure design principles, and frameworks such as NIST CSF, CIS Benchmarks, ISO 27000, and COBIT
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects

Responsibilities

  • Deploying and managing information security solutions and controls across the enterprise
  • Partnering with MSSP and Incident Response teams to address security incidents and potential threats
  • Monitoring logs, alerts, and reports to detect and mitigate potential security breaches
  • Partnering with IT infrastructure team for tier III troubleshooting related to Information Security
  • Creating and maintaining security standards, operational runbooks and processes
  • Driving and implementing key security strategies within the Focus Financial Partners firms
  • Providing information security expertise to the Focus Financial Partners firms
  • Working closely with other IT departments to ensure security policies are integrated into technology development and deployment
  • Keeping abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with API Gateways and common web application technologies preferred
  • CISSP, CISM, or CEH preferred
