Senior Security Engineer

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or related field. A master’s degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus
8yrs+ of relevant work experience in security. Experience in consumer electronics, automotive, aerospace industries is highly desirable
Ability to read, assess and develop production ready code in C/C++ and Python
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and develop effective solutions
Results orientated focus, the team’s operational and functional focus is on outcomes with leverage given on how best to achieve the desired output

Identify, quantify and/or mitigate security risk by assessing the security risks of Wing’s products, systems and services and communicating them to stakeholders across the organization including non-technical, engineering and executive audiences
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of and ensure compliance with evolving cybersecurity and data privacy regulations within the aviation industry globally
Independently execute gap analysis to assess the organization’s current security posture against new requirements and threats
Driving mitigation/remediation efforts in a collaborative manner with cross-functional teams
Designing and implementing security processes for the team on security related issues
Contributing to the development and test of end-to-end features and bug fixes
Operating and maintaining security systems, analyze and respond to threats, or execute information security procedures including tasks that are not covered by existing guidelines
Manage complex and/or long-lived operational security tasks that may be ambiguous in nature
Identify and implement changes to tools or processes that meaningfully improve the operational and security efficiency for Wing

A master’s degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus
