Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree STEM (Master’s degree preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience
  • Strong engineering skills in SIGNALS and RF systems for overhead space systems and supporting ground architectures
  • Familiarity with current SIGINT and COMM architectures
  • Familiarity with developers offerings to satisfy SIGINT needs
  • Experience in the design & integration of ground station digital hardware and knowledgeable of ground station activities and ground architecture is required
  • Track ground system development issues and recommend common interfaces
  • Familiarity with IC acquisition policies and procedures

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead on ground system command and control hardware requirements development, design analysis, and production methodologies for SIGINT
  • Provide expert technical recommendations and engineering advice on the development and integration of new and modified capabilities in the SIGINT domain, with a specific emphasis on cross mission, cross discipline integration
  • Provide Government acquisition support including, but not limited to Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), ECP Technical Evaluations, core acquisition processes and documentation (SOW, RFP, WBS, etc.)
  • Define future architecture enhancements and their associated features and capabilities
  • Provide technical and programmatic inputs to Government program office cost estimates
  • Provide experienced counsel to the Government staff through all phases of acquisition including, but not limited to generation and review of system and sub-system requirements, development processes, integration, verification, validation and testing (IVV&T)
  • Aid in working with Mission Operations teams to enable transition of new capabilities into mainstream operations
  • Coordinate with internal and external offices, Directorates and agencies of the US Government to identify, characterize and resolve issues and risks throughout the acquisition lifecycle
