Requirements
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree STEM (Master’s degree preferred)
- 10+ years of experience
- Strong engineering skills in SIGNALS and RF systems for overhead space systems and supporting ground architectures
- Familiarity with current SIGINT and COMM architectures
- Familiarity with developers offerings to satisfy SIGINT needs
- Experience in the design & integration of ground station digital hardware and knowledgeable of ground station activities and ground architecture is required
- Track ground system development issues and recommend common interfaces
- Familiarity with IC acquisition policies and procedures
Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead on ground system command and control hardware requirements development, design analysis, and production methodologies for SIGINT
- Provide expert technical recommendations and engineering advice on the development and integration of new and modified capabilities in the SIGINT domain, with a specific emphasis on cross mission, cross discipline integration
- Provide Government acquisition support including, but not limited to Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), ECP Technical Evaluations, core acquisition processes and documentation (SOW, RFP, WBS, etc.)
- Define future architecture enhancements and their associated features and capabilities
- Provide technical and programmatic inputs to Government program office cost estimates
- Provide experienced counsel to the Government staff through all phases of acquisition including, but not limited to generation and review of system and sub-system requirements, development processes, integration, verification, validation and testing (IVV&T)
- Aid in working with Mission Operations teams to enable transition of new capabilities into mainstream operations
- Coordinate with internal and external offices, Directorates and agencies of the US Government to identify, characterize and resolve issues and risks throughout the acquisition lifecycle
