Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science or related degree and 5+ years of experience -OR- a Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 2+ years of experience
- DC L2 and L3 devices administration: switches and routers (Arista EOS, Cisco IOS, Sonic is a plus. Tofino-based switches – big plus)
- Linux networking (L2-L3) – admin, automation
- Network h/w: NICs (100GE – E810, ConnectX), SmartNICs is a plus (IPU) and DC interconnects (fiber/copper)
- Linux admin (Ubuntu, CentOS, SuSE – optional, good to have)
- Scripting (Bash, Python)
- REST APIs and tools (e.g., Postman)
- SCM (GitHub), CI/CD (Jenkins)
Responsibilities
- Designing a scalable, secure, high performance core service layer
- Integrating it with the cloud orchestration and monitoring
- Authoring the code
- Automating the deployment
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to work across multiple disciplines
- Working experience with Kubernetes/containers (docker)
- Troubleshooting skills (within respective domains and across)
- Server platform knowledge (BIOS, Redfish, BMC) – configuration, maintenance
- Experience with SDN technologies (OVS, VxLAN)
- Practical knowledge with K8s/container networking (CNIs, network policies)
- Monitoring and telemetry (Grafana, Prometheus)
- Go Programming Language experience
