Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent degree required
  • 3 years of relevant experience in a social media or digital marketing role
  • Solid experience with multi-media content creation
  • Knowledge of keywords and hashtags
  • Understanding of targeted ad setups, budget management, analysis and optimization
  • Proficient in using social media management and scheduling tools
  • Hands-on experience working with enterprise-level social media tools, preferably PromoRepublic or Hootsuite
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to resolve client issues and challenges

Responsibilities

  • Drive and support Franchisee and Vacation Consultant success through best-in-class service and support of tools, processes, and implementation of strategic social media imperatives
  • Oversee execution of paid ads to drive RSVPs for Franchisee in-store events to support our Core Promotions
  • Lead initiatives and incentive programs that drive behavior to increase overall social media performance for our Core Promotion posts including Impressions, Reach, Engagement, RSVPs, and Leads
  • Participate in the structure and content of service agreements with external agencies
  • Oversee key performance metrics, identify when are out of normal range and propose actions to manage
  • Oversee social media strategies that drive metrics in support of departmental goals
  • Understand (internal and external) customers’ needs, and develop the skills necessary to help customers understand business challenges
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Set up and help administer Franchisee Facebook business pages
  • Create training materials for our Social Media Tool ‘SocialHUB’
  • Host training webinars for our Franchisees and Vacation Consultants on how to make the most of their social media presence
  • Attend off-site training events and host social media workshops where necessary

Preferred Qualifications

  • E-commerce and travel (cruise) industry experience
  • Video Editing Skills
  • Basic design skills using tools like Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proficiency in HTML
