Requirements
- Minimum Secret clearance with the ability to quickly obtain TS, SCI, SAP. TS highly desired.
- Minimum 10 years of advanced proficiency in UAF, SysML, UML, DoDAF/MODAF, IDEFo, BPMN, MBRE, and SysML v2.0.
- Strong background in M&S and MBSE. Extensive knowledge of scaled software test infrastructure required for complex, embedded systems.
- Experience in designing and developing complex systems of systems and enterprise architectures.
- Proven track record in managing and delivering complex projects with approximately 15+ years of experience in program/project management. Experience should include managing complex software development projects.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in a collaborative environment. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively within all organizational levels, including senior DoD leadership.
- Previous experience in the defense sector or with DoD projects.
- Proven ability to recommend, embrace and implement change in a fast-paced, high-performing, hand-picked organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine innovative software acquisition strategies for the nation’s emerging autonomous capabilities. Embed with the USG team and lead a high-profile, large-scale software procurement effort.
- Recommend and refine detailed operational requirements for emerging autonomous systems.
- Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation to achieve aggressive project timelines and cutting-edge technology outcomes.
- Recommend and leverage software modeling and test tools to validate performance and achieve knowledge parity with participating vendors.
- Mentor junior USG and contractor team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with AI/ML applications and test methods.
- Interest in and experience with the latest system modeling and engineering techniques and languages.
- Operational flight experience or work within a relevant Air Force tactical aircraft environment.
- Experience in large-scale USG software acquisition program(s), especially experience or extensive knowledge of the formal Software Acquisition Pathway.
