Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of delivering robust software in JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Clear technical expertise in at least one back-end framework and front-end framework (Node.JS, React-18, React-19; Next.JS/ Remix/ Angular.JS)
  • Expertise with development collaboration tools such as JIRA and git, and development processes like scrum or Kanban.
  • Experience with web testing and accessibility tools (Jest, Mocha, Cypress, axe, etc)
  • Experience in a cloud environment, such as AWS.
  • Familiarity with SQL and complex database schemas.
  • An understanding of UI design, accessibility, and design systems.
  • A passion for building beautiful and functional UIs and APIs.

Responsibilities

  • Tackle real-world customer challenges and ship impactful solutions quickly, crafting front-end web apps or back-end services by working from detailed designs to implement rich user experiences.
  • Demonstrate PR review best practices, develop effective tests and metrics to ensure successful software delivery, and monitor and analyze the real-time performance of our platform.
  • Collaborate directly with Product Managers to create, design, develop and deliver large-scale features for our platform.
  • Contribute to your team’s success with thoughtful code reviews, thorough documentation, and open knowledge sharing, while working with the wider engineering organization to improve processes and introduce new approaches.
  • Build your team’s capabilities over time through direct mentorship of less experienced engineers and the documentation and demonstration of the execution of SDLC best practices.
  • Apply and support security best practices.
