Requirements
- Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree (Computer Science preferred)
- 10+ years of professional experience in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Go)
- Experience and desire to own new products from zero to one, from system design to implementation to deployment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Rapidly build, ship, and test new applications on top of our AI platform to compete with and 10x existing SaaS tools
- Get your hands dirty deep in the AI systems, as well as writing traditional application code
- Bake AI into every part of your role to make it better, trying to automate it away so you can do 100 jobs at once
- Be a thought leader in the enterprise AI space
- Manage and mentor junior engineers
- Guide the early Village technical architecture decisions that will resonate throughout the global economy for years to come
- Establish the Village engineering culture–live the mission and set a standard
- Help the product team craft the team vision, strategy, and roadmap while proposing innovative solutions, as well as understanding technical limitations
- Drive key business metrics
- Have an inordinate amount of fun
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in React, Next.js, and TypeScript (nice to have)
- Experience with LLM Operations and prompt engineering (nice to have)
