Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) in production environments, with proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, and automation using Python or JavaScript.
- Deep expertise in container orchestration (EKS or similar), including deployment, scaling, administration, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of real-time event streaming architectures and distributed systems at scale, including tools like Kafka, Pulsar, and SNS/SQS.
- Experience with large-scale observability systems (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, etc.) and performance monitoring in high-scale, data-intensive environments.
- Excellent communication skills in English – you can explain complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences both verbally and in writing.
Responsibilities
- Play a crucial role in ensuring the health, stability, and reliability of critical cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with a dynamic group of professionals to drive initiatives aimed at developing and improving the scalability, availability, and performance of our systems.
- Take responsibility for system scaling, monitoring, alerting, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Support and mentor other engineers on best-practices, architecture, and quality.
