Requirements

  • Bachelors with 15+ years of relevant industry experience, or Masters with 13+ years or PhD with 10+ years in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • A minimum 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering with a focus on semiconductor design.
  • 8+ years of experience working in SOC or ASIC design environments.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components such as compute clusters, storage systems, and network architecture.
  • Experience with EDA (Electronic Design Automation) tools including Synopsys tools such as Design Compiler, IC Compiler, and PrimeTime, and Cadence tools such as Encounter Digital Implementation System, Virtuoso, and Innovus.
  • Strong understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems and scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
  • Proficiency in version control systems including Perforce (P4), Git, and Bitbucket.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain the IT infrastructure for our SOC design environments.
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, and engineers to define and implement IT infrastructure requirements for SOC design.
  • Develop and maintain scripts, tools, and methodologies for automating IT infrastructure tasks.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues related to IT infrastructure for SOC design.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Participate in the development of technical documentation for IT infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with external partners to integrate our SOCs into their systems and applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of SOCs and adapt them to improve our products.
