Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) discipline AND 14 years of related professional/military experience OR a Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 12 years of related professional/military experience, OR a STEM Ph.D. AND 10 years of related professional/military experience
- Must have an active DoD Top Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs
- Must have technical OR leadership experience in systems engineering and integration of Ground System systems, such as development, manufacture, test, or operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and provide expert support to the entire Ground System segment technical team
- Lead and optimize Ground System design, processing, and mission success
- Troubleshoot and develop solutions to complex problems that the program may encounter
- Develop, author and/or provide input to major program data products and other deliverables
- Technical management of program elements
- Plan and conduct of technical reviews and technical baseline
- Write status and technical performance reviews and reports
- Mentor, coach, train, guide, direct and advise junior staff
- Able to recognize and mitigate technical issues and risks while operating within budget and on schedule
- The candidate will work with cross-discipline team members and must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse community of engineers and managers to achieve the goals of the program team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Ground Systems Communications Hardware/Software and Aircraft Maintenance Systems Hardware/Software
- Active or current TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance
- Experience in system architecture & CONOPs development
- Experience with Integration & Test of Ground System systems
- Experience with various technical tools such as MATLAB, STK, CORE, DOORS, or CAMEO
- Knowledge of SysML, and SysML v2.0
- Experience working with industry consortium
- Experience with Software Defined Infrastructure, and DevSecOps practices.
