Senior/Staff Product Designer

5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions across web.
Strong experience in user research methodologies, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and data analysis.
Proven ability to work closely with Product, Engineering, and other teams to drive design decisions and deliver high-quality, user-friendly products.
A strong problem solver with the ability to break down complex problems and design innovative, intuitive solutions.
Experience in creating and maintaining design systems to ensure consistency and scalability across platforms.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present design work and articulate design decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Own the design process for new features and product initiatives, from initial concept through to high-fidelity designs, prototypes, and implementation.
Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to understand user needs, define product requirements, and ensure design solutions align with business goals and technical feasibility.
Advocate for and prioritize the needs of our users, conducting user research and usability testing to drive decisions and continuously improve the user experience.
Contribute to the evolution of our design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across all of our products and platforms.
Leverage data and user feedback to validate design decisions and refine products post-launch for ongoing improvement.
Ensure design solutions align with and elevate the Placements.io brand, creating polished, aesthetically pleasing, and intuitive interfaces.
