Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or similar)
- 12+ years of experience in system engineering or a related field
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Strong expertise in system architecture, integration, and deployment, including hardware, software, and networks
- Experience defining/documenting system requirements, specifications, and architectures
- Proven ability to manage and execute complex system deployments
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead concept development by gathering and analyzing customer requirements to propose innovative solutions.
- Assess system performance, identify areas for optimization, and ensure compliance with security and operational standards.
- Define system specifications and design requirements based on operational needs and performance objectives.
- Oversee the development and implementation of systems/services, ensuring technical and security standards are met.
- Manage smooth system/service deployment, ensuring integration with existing infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, network engineers, and cybersecurity specialists.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Document system specifications, architectures, and test results in a clear and comprehensive manner.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols, regulatory standards, and operational policies.
- Drive continuous improvement and implement best practices within the engineering team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a STEM field with 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA Security+, CISSP, etc.).
- Experience with systems security and compliance in a highly regulated environment.
