Requirements
- Must be a US citizen
- Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret level Clearance
- Strong understanding of modeling and simulation methodologies
- Familiar with AOC Weapon System and Intel functions and system
- Experience with various simulation tools and platforms
- Strong technical foundation in software development best practices and processes including Agile development and DevSecOps
- Knowledge of relevant programming languages and databases (e.g., C++, Java, Postgres, DevOps)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in planning, organizing, and managing projects
- Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure quality
- Top Secret clearance, able to obtain and maintain JWICS access
- Strong problem-solving skills to resolve issues and ensure quality.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with portfolio leadership and Program Manager in critical decision making at the tactical and strategic level from a technical perspective
- Assess and analyze requirements
- Provide technical guidance and oversight
- Technical advocate, work with the team to solve issues/problems
- Facilitate coordination between Contractor and users
- Pairs with Program Manager regularly to ensure successful implementation of the program’s technical strategy and CNS, including re-alignment of resources and work as necessary to remain on track
- Oversees and guides developers and the maintainers in support of sustaining and modernizing the suite
- Promote communication to collectively problem solve
- Pair with developers to remove technical blockers and resolve technical challenges
- Architect and develop solutions to ambiguous problems with significant impact
- Define engineering standards and best practices
- Advocate for development and implementation of modern, improved technical approaches, fostering a continuous improvement mindset with our engineering staff.
Preferred Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree
- 10 years of directly related experience with 5 years of experience in a DoD setting
