Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen
  • Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret level Clearance
  • Strong understanding of modeling and simulation methodologies
  • Familiar with AOC Weapon System and Intel functions and system
  • Experience with various simulation tools and platforms
  • Strong technical foundation in software development best practices and processes including Agile development and DevSecOps
  • Knowledge of relevant programming languages and databases (e.g., C++, Java, Postgres, DevOps)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in planning, organizing, and managing projects
  • Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure quality
  • Top Secret clearance, able to obtain and maintain JWICS access
  • Strong problem-solving skills to resolve issues and ensure quality.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with portfolio leadership and Program Manager in critical decision making at the tactical and strategic level from a technical perspective
  • Assess and analyze requirements
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight
  • Technical advocate, work with the team to solve issues/problems
  • Facilitate coordination between Contractor and users
  • Pairs with Program Manager regularly to ensure successful implementation of the program’s technical strategy and CNS, including re-alignment of resources and work as necessary to remain on track
  • Oversees and guides developers and the maintainers in support of sustaining and modernizing the suite
  • Promote communication to collectively problem solve
  • Pair with developers to remove technical blockers and resolve technical challenges
  • Architect and develop solutions to ambiguous problems with significant impact
  • Define engineering standards and best practices
  • Advocate for development and implementation of modern, improved technical approaches, fostering a continuous improvement mindset with our engineering staff.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree
  • 10 years of directly related experience with 5 years of experience in a DoD setting
