Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Manufacturing, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience as a software Product Manager, with a bias toward supply chain and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
  • 2+ years of experience MES functionalities, including work master authoring, real-time monitoring, detailed scheduling, and data integration with Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • 2+ years working in manufacturing centric business, with an understanding of fabrication, assembly and quality inspection.
  • 2+ years of SQL development experience including strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and drive data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of successfully managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of MES strategies and roadmaps in alignment with company goals and manufacturing requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for MES implementation projects, including requirements gathering, system configuration, and validation.
  • Ensure seamless integration of MES with Quality Management Systems (QMS) to maintain real-time data accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee the detailed scheduling of manufacturing activities, leveraging MES capabilities to optimize resource allocation and production timelines.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to customize and enhance MES functionality to meet the evolving needs of the manufacturing environment.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), user manuals, and system architecture diagrams.
  • Monitor MES performance metrics and analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvements and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide training and support to manufacturing teams on MES functionalities and best practices.
  • Act as a liaison between manufacturing, quality assurance, and IT teams to resolve any issues related to MES execution and data linkage.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in MES and manufacturing orchestration to ensure our processes remain competitive.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with software development and customization related to MES and manufacturing systems is a plus.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on process optimization and continuous improvement; Six Sigma certification or similar preferred.
  • The ideal candidate will have a:
  • 5+ years of software development experience focused on factory or supply chain use cases.
  • 5+ years of experience launching 0-1 supply chain products.
  • 5+ years of experience integrating software with shop floor systems/operations technology.
  • Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes across multiple manufacturing domains, materials, operations, maintenance, etc.
  • Experience with GenAI and agentic engines in a software development context.
  • Experience in aerospace and/or engineer-to-order environments under strict regulatory conditions.
