Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business Administration with a focus in Supply Chain; and 5+ years of multiple supply chain experiences
  • Requires a high degree of analysis, collaboration, problem solving, and subject matter expertise in systems such as BlueYonder TMS, Excel, SAP/BI reporting, PowerBI, FourKites
  • Influence across multiple levels of the Supply Chain organization; Proficiency in managing multiple priorities and initiatives
  • Demonstrated capability to analyze complex circumstances and develop effective action plans

Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily transportation metrics to identify and close gaps in performance of both people and process; Perform regular data analysis to propose improvement recommendations related to daily execution and visibility (track & trace) processes within transportation
  • Develop and monitor process and robotic automation tools that will have a direct impact on business results. Embrace AI as a solution to drive improvements
  • Provide informal work direction of the daily inbound and outbound execution analysts including the monitoring of automation tools to ensure effectiveness and results
  • Manage team training, data management, and deployment of cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives such as FourKites Visibility, Appointment Manger and Dynamic Yard, Maestro Control Tower, carrier EDI events, DPD, BlueYonder SmartBench, and others
  • Influence both the short-term and long-term vision for Transportation execution
  • Collaborates with customers both internal and external to provide expertise and guidance on transport execution tools and processes; Work at all levels of the organization to escalate and resolve issues that impact customer OTIF; including but not limited to, weather events, customer hyper-care liaison, holiday execution and other war-room activities
  • Collaborate across departments with Order Management, Planning and Distribution COE’s to ensure ‘right first time’ quality for customer and inter-company volume
  • Analyze transportation data, processes, procedures and systems to ensure optimal cost, capacity and service across all shipments
  • Develop and lead new-hire training and onboarding of all new transportation execution team members specifically related to TMS, Four Kites, and SAP systems. Ensures knowledge transfer and capability of all execution process requirements and skills
  • Continuously monitor industry activity and conduct peer-to-peer benchmarking across the transportation space to ensure best-in-class performance; Provides operations team leader coverage when needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Manufacturing, Customer Logistics and/or Distribution network knowledge a plus
  • Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve processes and services
