Requirements
- 8+ years total experience, with at least 4 years supporting international treasury operations within a multi-national company
- BS/BA in finance, accounting, economics or related discipline, MBA preferred
- Familiarity with ERP systems (i.e. SAP, Oracle) and Online banking administration (i.e. JP Morgan Access, CitiDirect, etc.)
- Understanding of large multinational entity structures and global payments strategy
- Strong leadership, planning and organizational skills required to manage a complex process involving multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Possess intellectual curiosity to seek knowledge and problem solve independently with minimal direct supervision
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships, gain consensus among various teams and drive initiatives to completion effectively
- Experience building treasury procedures and best practices
Responsibilities
- Manage strategic and transformational initiatives across the broader Treasury group (e.g. TMS selection & implementation, ringfencing of merchant funds, group wide 13W forecast, FX exposure management, etc)
- Drive creation of operating models and funds flows to support treasury requirements for global product offerings, by partnering closely with commercial, legal and finance teams to provide counsel on the banking infrastructure needed to support new arrangements.
- Engages and builds relationships with stakeholders across all brands and Corporate enabling organizational cross-pollination.
- Communicates recommendations to senior management in a clear, concise, and impactful way.
- Designs and drafts Corporate Treasury policy and process guides. Works collaboratively with the brands’ treasury, finance, tax, and accounting functions to establish business processes in line with corporate guidance.
- Mentor and develop less experienced team members and provide operational oversight and approvals as needed.
- Ensure optimal cash management structure in each country and partner closely with local teams to ensure compliance.
- Work with Corporate Treasury, Tax, Legal and local stakeholders to effectively reposition cash/capital via intercompany loans or appropriate capital actions like dividends or equity injections.
- Assist in identifying where policies and guidelines would be helpful across BKNG and work with all impacted stakeholders to create such policies/guidelines.
