Requirements

  • Portfolio links or writing samples must be included with resume for consideration.
  • Minimum 5-7 years working as a writer with relevant experience.
  • Top-notch creative writing for long-form and short-form content, including knowledge of proper punctuation, spelling and grammar.
  • Experienced with content creation, content strategy and writing for marketing content, social media content, video content and organic content.
  • Experience writing storyboards.
  • Ability to understand a marketing brief and translate that input into ideas.
  • Ability to work independently or within a small working group.
  • Strong collaboration skills.
  • Team player with enthusiasm, positive attitude and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done.
  • Must have the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to take creative direction and incorporate feedback.
  • Strong attention to detail and an eye for quality.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience writing for healthcare or health and wellness industry.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices.
  • Ability to leverage tools and technology like AI, seoClarity and others.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Ideate and create engaging content that aligns with brand vision, voice and tone, both long-form and short-form.
  • Long-form writing for health and wellness articles for the CVS Wellness Zone. (75%)
  • Short form writing for marketing content, email and web content, social media content, video content and organic content. (25%)
  • Adapting existing content for other channels.
  • Partner with design peers on creative storytelling, both written and visual.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align content with marketing strategies.
  • Develop and maintain trusted partnerships with peers and business teams.
  • Partner closely with SEO team to ensure all content is optimized for SEO and user engagement, ensuring keyword optimization, proper use of meta tags and alignment with user intent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of working for a large, complex client organization and/or creative marketing agencies or marketing organizations.
  • Experience with MRM tools (i.e. Workfront).
