Sentinel Industrial Engineer / Principal Industrial Engineer

Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience or Master’s degree with 0 years of experience for Industrial Engineer; 4 additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience; or Master’s degree with 3 years of experience; or PhD with 1 year of experience for Principal Industrial Engineer; 4 additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance
2-5 years of experience in critical thinking and analysis of live manufacturing systems
2-5 years of experience in analyzing shop floor manufacturing processes and capabilities
2-5 years of engineering experience in an ISO 9001 compliant manufacturing/fabrication work environment

Tracking and analyzing the processes of the Engineering Development Lab for the program
Generating staffing plans, establishing standard hours development, process improvements, staffing plans, build schedules, and cost/performance analysis
Engaging and collaborating with programs and functional organizations to obtain, understand, and interpret manufacturing facilitation and scheduling requirements
Working with functional team to understand scheduling requirements at implementation sites
Documenting, tracking and monitoring problems to ensure a timely resolution
Possessing strong leadership, organizational, planning and decision making skills and the ability to work as a team member and with other members from different technical backgrounds

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) discipline
An active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope
2-5 years of 5S and Lean Manufacturing experience a plus
