Requirements
- Previous Service Advisor experience, preferred.
- Prior experience as an automotive technician a plus.
- A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.
- Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
- Acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license in your state of residence.
Responsibilities
- Initiating automotive services and repairs by ascertaining vehicle performance problems and service requests.
- Verifying warranty and service contract coverage.
- Developing estimates and writing repair orders.
- Maintaining customer records.
- Serving as the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician.
- Communicating additional repair and service needs to the customer based on vehicle inspection.
- Administering the manufacturer warranty for qualifying vehicle repairs.
- Keeping customer informed of service specials, completion times and service expenses.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Service Advisor experience, preferred.
- Prior experience as an automotive technician a plus.
