Requirements
- Minimum High school diploma and AA or equivalent
- Minimum of AA or college degree preferred
- 1-2 years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read, write and understand English
- Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees, supervisors, or engineers
- Ability to do basic math
- Ability to apply logical understanding to carry out instructions
- Ability to deal with situations with several variables
- Ability to report actual or potential quality issues
- Ability to suggest and implement process improvements
- Proficient in use of personal computers as part of daily work, including knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and SAP ERP System, ACCS (Agile) system
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical internal customers
- Acute attention to detail; excellent organizational skills
- High level of professional integrity and ethics

Responsibilities
- Analyzes wiring diagrams, schematics, assembly drawings, fab drawings, mechanical component drawings to conduct repair and testing of FRUs
- Performs repair of complex electro-mechanical assemblies per applicable work Instructions
- Performs testing of complex electro-mechanical assemblies per applicable work Instructions
- Aids with failure analysis and Final Test of assemblies and properly documents findings
- Participates in investigational teams for FRU’s to provide input if required
- Communicates status of repairs with leads/supervisors and other departments as necessary
- Provides detailed symptom descriptions for failures uncovered during repair, functional test and calibration to assist in component-level troubleshooting
- Conducts quality inspection of own or other’s work to ensure workmanship standards are met
- Adheres to GDP guidelines when completing all documentation
- Initiates material requests
- Reports quality issues and provides details necessary to create quality notification (VR, PL) records transactions in SAP as needed to preserve traceability
- Follows all corporate, safety, SOP, DOP procedures and regulations
- Maintains a clean and orderly workstation
- Communicates process flow recommendations to Leads/Supervisor/Manager or designee
- Maintains an excellent attendance record
