Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience managing brand channels or equivalent on a major platform (e.g., YouTube, Meta, TikTok) or equivalent work experience.
- Expertise in platform-specific analytics tools (e.g., YouTube Studio, Meta Business Suite)
- Deep knowledge of platform algorithms and content formats
- Analytical mindset with A/B testing and performance refinement experience
- Excellent writing, grammar, and organizational skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Stay deeply engaged in the Reddit ecosystem, monitoring feature rollouts, subreddit trends, and competitor activity across relevant communities
- Maintain an internal wiki or platform update brief to keep cross-functional teams informed of Reddit-specific updates and insights
- Serve as the in-house expert on Reddit best practices, community guidelines, and platform etiquette
- Analyze post and thread-level performance metrics such as upvotes, comment volume, engagement rate, CTR, and community growth
- Develop weekly insights reports to guide content creation, community engagement strategies, and distribution approaches
- Present data-driven findings to the VP of Social and recommend A/B tests or content optimizations (e.g., post timing, title formatting, content tone)
- Lead performance strategy shifts in response to algorithm or community behavior changes—testing new formats like AMAs, image carousels, polls, or discussion threads
- Manage the full publishing process on Reddit—crafting attention-grabbing post titles, scheduling posts, tagging and categorizing content appropriately, and ensuring consistent brand tone
- Align Reddit strategies with broader content and campaign goals while adapting for the platform’s unique audience and culture
- Establish governance and documentation for Reddit usage, including content moderation practices and compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
- Act as the main point of contact for platform tools, vendor coordination, and internal Reddit-related inquiries
- Train internal teams on Reddit platform capabilities, engagement tools, and effective community management techniques
