Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CIS, MIS, Computer Science, or Information Technology
- 8 years of experience architecting enterprise solutions based on microservices and event-based architecture
- Experience in the financial services industry using REST and SOAP based APIs
- Leading overall design of cross-functional, multi-platform, and Web-based application systems using web services and client administration tools utilizing Pega and Salesforce
- Developing application architecture and blueprints using Microsoft Visio or Atlassian Gliffy
- Defining solutions and documenting the identified challenges by creating architecture diagrams and blueprints
- Identifying and defining reusable components, platforms, and interfaces across Lending technology teams
- Mapping activities on specific integrations using BIAN
- Providing technical guidance to application development teams and consulting on integration between two application systems and data migration activities
- Reviewing and approving the technical low-level software design created by development teams
- Conducting reviews and analyzing organizational needs and goals to develop and implement applications
- Ensuring the defined architecture standards are implemented by development teams
- Defining DevOps Practices and Tools using Bitbucket, Jenkins, uDeploy, Artifactory, and Azure
- Containerization and Orchestration Technologies using OpenShift or Kubernetes
- Working with Infrastructure as Code solutions using Ansible, Docker, and Terraform
- Designing Microservices and APIs using Java Springboot and monitoring microservices using Logscale and Dynatrace
- Defining Data Model and designing Database using Erwin Data Modeler
- Performance Engineering and Optimization standards using Dynatrace and either jMeter or HP Performance Tester.
Responsibilities
- Participate and contribute towards design discussions across the Lending technology organization
- Ensure applications follow technology and customer delivery goals of PNC
- Analyze existing legacy systems and their interactions to understand business functionality
- Design the integrations solutions in an optimized way by understanding the entire workflow and the upstream and downstream systems thoroughly
- Engage in various Enterprise architecture forums and groups across PNC
- Participate in solutioning enterprise needs and goals
- Stay up to date on enterprise architecture standards and patterns
- Gatekeep the various interactions across multiple technology platforms in the lending world.
