Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related field) or equivalent practical experience
- At least 5 years of industry experience
- Fluency with C++ or Python
- Experience with OpenGL or WebGL and graphics programming
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test features for road network applications such as the Editor, Map Health monitor, and map validation pipeline
- Build out the content pipeline and automation that enables Cartographers to produce ZRN data accurately and quickly
- Create software requirements, design documentation, test plans, and other supporting documentation
- Contribute to all phases of the software development cycle including prototyping, requirements capture, design, implementation, and validation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with React, Javascript, and web application development
- Experience with Qt or equivalent UI framework
- Experience with mapping, GIS systems, geometry, routing, or graph theory
- Experience with data/content pipelines (ETL, etc.)
