Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent required; master’s degree preferred
- 2-5 years of development experience
- Excellent coding skills in C or C++
- Hands-on experience working in a Linux environment with a strong understanding of Linux operating system functionality and capabilities
- Expertise developing real-time multi-threaded applications on multi-core platforms
- Strong Software Engineering background
- Good understanding of Routing and Switching Protocols (OSPF, BGP, VRRP etc.)
- Solid technical knowledge of networking protocols and applications, including: Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDP, GRE Tunneling, IP Security, Firewall etc.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a self-motivated approach to tackling complex technical issues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Architect, Design, and Develop data path subsystems/features in the following areas: Application Visualization and Control, Policy Infrastructure, Link Management, Tunnel Management, and Flow Management, TCP/IP and SSL Proxy, High Availability Framework, IPv4/IPv6 Routing (OSPF, BGP, and Multicast) and Applications (HTTP, DNS, DHCP, VRRP, AAA, IKE)
