Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in developing, testing, deploying, and debugging AWS, Spark jobs using Scala with excellent SQL knowledge and scripting knowledge.
- Deep knowledge of Spark Core, working with RDDs, DataFrames, Datasets, and SparkSQL.
- Expertise in Spark optimization techniques and best practices.
- Proficiency in Scala.
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix OS and shell scripting.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as IAM, S3, EMR, and EC2.
- Experience with tools like Airflow.
- Proficiency with SQL-based databases.
- Understanding of distributed systems and data processing concepts.
Responsibilities
- Designing, programming, debugging and modifying AWS, SQL and Spark software enhancements.
- Interacting with product managers and users to define requirements and modifications.
- Participating in software design meetings to determine technical requirements.
- Working with internal Client Training, Client Relationship and Sales teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Snowflake experience is a plus.
