Requirements
- 2+ years of experience working on backend platform and infrastructure teams
- Proficiency in at least one OOP language (Java, Kotlin, or Go)
- Experience building & maintaining platform components at scale
- Ability to apply a product mindset to platform problems
- Strive for design simplicity and consistency
- Ability to solve problems using software to automate or prevent toil
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain foundational components to enable DoorDash Engineers to excel at all aspects of their software development lifecycle
- Play a foundational role in guiding the future of DoorDash’s software development strategy
- Build, extend, and operate a central platform used by all DoorDash engineering teams
- Work on cross-functional projects by designing large scale systems with engineering excellence, long-term maintainability, and risk in mind
- Work with a team of highly talented and motivated teammates
