Requirements
- You are pursuing a technical bachelors or masters degree or have equivalent experience with a strong foundation in the fundamentals of computer science -OR- pursuing a software/coding boot camp (or educational training program) and/or technical associates degree with a strong foundation in the fundamentals of computer science.
- You strive to solve complex problems in microservices architecture
- You are familiar with programming languages like Java or Kotlin
- You have worked with relational databases or time-series databases like Druid
- You would flourish within a small engineering team and are excited to tackle open-ended problems
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
- The candidate must already be living in the San Francisco, CA area.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with JavaScript or Typescript
- Experience with Vue.js, AngularJS or ReactJS (we’re currently using Vue)
- Building large-scale real-time streaming pipelines using Kafka, Druid, or Spark
- Knowledge and use of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud technologies (AWS, GCP)
