Requirements
- 5 years + selling SaaS Software
- Experience selling to State and/or County Agencies
- Preferred experience or knowledge in emergency services, 9-1-1, or public safety
- Track record in managing the full sales life cycle from strategic regional plan
- Demonstrated experience and success working in a fast paced and fast-growing company
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Experience using a sales tracking tool/CRM
- Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders and successfully managing multiple sales opportunities
- Solid understanding technology: cloud computing, enterprise software, and data analytics
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required; Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets
- Strategic regional planning in alignment with company sales strategies
- Seek to hold prospective customers accountable to their part in delivering to a co-created vision and timeline
- Maintain current knowledge of the company’s solutions, industry, and competitive differences
- Clearly communicate RapidDeploy’s value and mission
- Act as a steward of the company in a professional manner at trade shows, social interactions, meetings and other industry events
- Maintain accurate and timely sales information in the company designated sales tool/CRM
- Consistent utilization of RapidDeploy’s sales process and sales enablement tools
- Be a challenger – understand your target market, issues, decision makers, funding sources and proactively bring solutions that will provide a successful path for sales execution
- Positive collaboration and communication with all team members across the RapidDeploy organization
- Availability to travel up to 75%
