Position Purpose:

The Solution Architect, Marketing Operations will own a set of business capabilities in support of The Home Depot’s campaign and audience activation areas.  They will operate as a key relationship manager for stakeholder teams, own solutions from design through implementation, and coordinate with execution partners for ongoing changes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 25% Collaborates with Partners – Coordinate with various teams, including internal and external partners involved in channel execution, data science and marketing strategies to produce high quality outcomes
  • 40% Executive on Deliverables – Execute on project deliverables based on team and Home Depot digital marketing priorities. Completes high quality work within time constraints. Utilizes independent discretion to solve problems
  • 35% Job Logic – Maintains and uses discretion and technical knowledge to improve existing data and campaign job logic

  • This position typically reports to Manager, Operations Process

Travel Requirements:

  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements:

  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Working Conditions:

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to translate digital marketing problems into marketing projects
  • Excellent project management and executive communication skills
  • Strong Digital Marketing and Data Analysis Skills
  • Working knowledge of Excel and file processing
  • Strong background in SQL and Relational Databases
  • Experience with Python, primarily reading and understanding existing code
  • Experience with multiple digital marketing platforms including DMP/DSPs, email service providers, personalization and content management tools, and channel activation platforms
  • Ability and willingness to operate in a highly cross-functional environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work well with others

Minimum Education:

  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor’s degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
