Requirements
- You can effectively communicate ideas and solutions to cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders.
- You have a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering or a related field.
- You have 7+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement or supply chain management, with a strong focus on ODM and JDM partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product development engineering, and quality assurance, to streamline supplier engagement and product launch processes.
- Ensure compliance with ethical sourcing policies, regulatory requirements and sustainability initiatives.
- Monitor trends, supplier capabilities and industry developments to drive continuous improvement in sourcing strategies.
- Visit supplier facilities for selection/procurement inspections, production inspections, commercial negotiations and product exploration.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA.
- You’ve worked in an environment that analyzes global supply chain trends, manufacturing processes and delivers products at a global scale.
- You’ve worked with international suppliers and have an understanding of cultural and business differences.
- You know how to drive cost-saving initiatives and process improvements while maintaining product quality and innovation.
- You’ve worked with MRP, ERP and PLM systems.
- You have a solid foundation in hardware engineering and a good familiarity with embedded software. A proven track record of delivering state-of-the-art electronics designs, boards and products would be a plus.
