Requirements

  • A bachelor’s or associate’s degree
  • A minimum of five years of experience in benefits or related human resources administration and/or a combination of both
  • Knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • An understanding of the employee benefit delivery supply chain
  • Knowledge of various benefit-related legislation (e.g., ERISA, PPACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA)
  • A solutions-focused approach toward everyday matters
  • A willingness to flex, adapt, and succeed in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Experience in the preparation of effective presentations and speaking to large audiences

Responsibilities

  • Develops strong working relationships with internal and external customers
  • Supports all aspects of North American health & welfare benefits and savings plan administration, as well as global benefit administration
  • Manages supplier relationships and programs and monitors performance and deliverables, potentially including but not limited to, Otis’ benefits administrator and other select vendor responsibilities
  • Lead point of contact for benefits escalations – partners with Otis HR shared services, payroll, and HRBPs to work towards resolution
  • Assists with the planning and execution of U.S. Annual Enrollment, year-end payroll testing, compliance filings, and plan audits
  • Creates standard work and process maps to document key processes and identifies and implements process improvement opportunities with Otis’ HR shared services
  • Partners closely with internal and external resources to develop various benefits communications materials
  • Supports various reporting and analysis
  • Delivers benefits program trainings to various audiences
  • Leads and supports special benefit related projects, as assigned
