Requirements
- BSc/BA in Business, Psychology, Education or a related field and/or Bachelor of Sciences in Chemistry, Biology or in a related field
- Training, Learning Professional certification is a plus
- 7 + years of work experience ideally in the pharmaceutical industry or related fields in learning & development / training department
- Proven experience as an L&D Specialist, Instructional designer, Trainer or similar role
- Perfectly bilingual (spoken/written English and French)
- Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
- Superior written and verbal communication
- Expert knowledge of diverse learning & development training tools
- Documentation management, Quality systems
- Educational and/or Pharmaceutical or pharmacological background, or health care professional background
- Knowledge of Health Canada’s GMP Regulations including those applied to wholesalers and distributors/importers will be an asset
- Knowledge or Experience with electronic Quality Management System / Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Excellent computer skills including strength of Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point
- Demonstrated ability to grasp business content quickly
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage several tasks at once
- Meticulous and detail oriented
- Strong analytical skills, excellent interpersonal and written & oral communication skills
- Proactive and strong team player
- Ability to work independently and make decisions based on judgment and integrity

Responsibilities
- Subject Matter Expert of the Training and Development program related to GxP’s activities
- Supporting implementation and management of Training material
- Ensure continuous compliance of McKesson’s internal training material
- Support in the implementation of a new Learning Management platform
- Collaborate with the Corporate Quality Shared Service departments to best integrate the LMS program with the QMS
- Support all Business units to adhere to the training program, SOPs along with the templates and structure of training
- Respond and track all training requests associated but not limited to New Hire Onboarding, Corporate Quality Training, Distribution centers training
- Collaborate with other departments than Quality in the creation of new training material
- Design e-learning courses, workshops, and other training methods
- Update and maintain training material related to Corporate Quality / GxP
- Support in the implementation of various learning methods using appropriate learning and development tools
- Support in the revision of current training plans and training material
- Support in key internal Training projects
- Support in the implementation of a monitoring system that allows measurement of the KPIs/KCIs on a regular basis
- Report relevant training performance metrics such as KPIs & KCIs
- Support in the onboarding of Trainers, when applicable
- Participate in team meetings.
- Maintain GMP training compliance across the business
- Interacts daily with functional peer groups and directs manager to ensure completion of activities. Interaction normally involves exchange or presentation of factual information
- Participate when required, in the creation and revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Working Instructions (WIs)
- Support special projects and assignments as needed.
- Remain current on legislative, regulatory, and technical changes
- Follow all relevant company policies, SOPs and WIs.
Preferred Qualifications
