Requirements

  • You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering
  • You have a strong experience in mass properties applied to aerospace, ideally from several aircraft programs
  • You like collaborative work within a medium-sized team and to get the opportunity to work on a large variety of topics to support your department

Responsibilities

  • Play a central role in the decarbonization of civil aviation, using weight analysis tools
  • Analyse changes on different A/C components and provide impact on A/C final weight
  • Work within multi-disciplinary teams while understanding the needs and constraints of other disciplines, to propose design solutions that are the most optimal for the aircraft
  • Collaborate efficiently with other Flight Physics teams in Canada and in Europe, to benefit from the unique transnational environment of Airbus and from all the expertise across our different business units
  • Participate in the transformation of Airbus Canada engineering capabilities, by understanding the limits of today’s tools and processes and by proposing innovative solutions to continually improve efficiency
