Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or another related technical field is required.
- High aptitude for mathematics and actuarial sciences
- Experience with Microsoft SQL, R or other programming/database/statistical languages
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Above average communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to adapt to constant change and innovation
Responsibilities
- Analyze new and existing data to assure high quality.
- Resolve data issues by working internally across divisions and externally with statistical agents.
- Evaluate and submit reoccurring statutory reporting, verification & payment of assessments, and ad-hoc data calls.
- Organize and provide management with reports to aid in decision making.
- Effectively communicate with other employees through verbal and written means.
- Participate in both formal and informal training sessions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Actuarial exams are considered but not required
