Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage Microsoft SQL Server.
- Design and configure VMware virtual services.
- Perform full system upgrades and repairs to Microsoft SQL databases, associated host virtual machines, and the hosting virtual environment.
- Troubleshoot and repair faults within the Microsoft SQL Server and Windows Server environments.
- Maintain hardware and software inventory lists to include applications licensing and all associated maintenance and support contracts.
- Evaluate and install required security patches and systems security updates.
- Create user and admin accounts with specific access privileges.
- Implement and maintain group policies specific to MS SQL and MS Server.
- Plan and manage database specific taskings and exercises associated with systems security plans, disaster recovery plans, and contingency plans.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SolarWinds Orion platform deployments and associated SQL database integrations.
- Experience with SolarWinds Applications and development of custom dashboards.
- Experience with TrendMicro Deep Security Manager.
- Advanced experience with relational databases and performing database administration using SQL.
