Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ Years of sales, operational, engineering, and/or experience with Mechanical Systems
- 2 Years of Experience in the HVAC, Construction, or Energy Services Industry
Responsibilities
- Identifies prospects and establishes a professional relationship to understand the customer needs and suggest products and/or services that meet the customers needs.
- Participates in business development activities for prospects within defined customer segment to support the business strategy.
- Identifies bid opportunities, prepares bid responses, and negotiates with potential customers.
- Develops new customer contact leads for the sales business development team.
- Supports the management team representative on prospective target accounts or territories.
- Develops personal long-term customer relationships with prospective accounts to influence opportunities.
- Attends trade shows at times to increase the visibility of the organization and potentially influence prospects.
- Acquiring new customers through strategic owner direct retrofit projects
- Leveraging energy retrofits, partnerships, buying contracts, energy services, and ALC product services throughout North Carolina
- Growing and establishing new service agreements throughout North Carolina
- Growing ALC’s Service Offerings
- Establishing relationships outside of the construction tier
- Forming partnerships with other vendors with vested interest.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Technical field or Engineering discipline
- Experience in industries such as HVAC, BMS, Facility Energy business working with top financial decision makers
- Ability to create and close projects and service agreements based on customer needs.
- Excellent Qualifying skills.
- Must be self-motivated to achieve annual goals and objectives.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to influence customer’s key decision-makers.
- Willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory.
- Excellent writing, communication & presentation skills.
- Microsoft Office Suite.
