Sr. Accounting Analyst

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
CPA and/or MBA in Finance/Accounting a plus.
Minimum of three years financial reporting / financial accounting experience, public accounting experience and exposure to medium-to-large companies a plus.
Advanced experience with SAP software a plus.
Solid understanding of general accounting matters and IFRS/GAAP.
Strong “client service” mindset and work well with internal customers as well as external parties.
Proven organizational, team-building and people skills.
Ability to assume increasing responsibilities in a rapidly-changing environment.
Ability to understand the impact on new technologies on processes and costs.
Intermediate computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Access), experience with SAP and/or ERP systems a plus.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting divisional, local and corporate management and demands.
Experience integrating new technologies into day-to-day operations.

Month-end procedures, including the preparation and posting of journal entries.
Perform tasks ensuring accurate financial and statistical close processes, including general ledger account reconciliations and other analyses within established timelines.
Perform the product costing process including calculating, maintaining, and updating standard gas and hard-goods costs as required.
Preparation of reports and other information related to internal requests from the Division/branches as well as Corporate.
Participates in ongoing enhancements to accounting and reporting processes by leveraging systems and reporting tools to drive those enhancements.
Supports and provides direction as well as training to the teams accounting staff.
Ensures compliance with the Company’s financial policies/procedures and other matters related to compliance.
Build effective relationships with all levels of associates within the organization.
